At the heart of the Community

The village hall for Bickenhall, Curland, Staple Fitzpaine, Thurlbear and Orchard Portman

A Grade II listed Building in Bickenhall, Somerset

A village hall with a difference

It is different because our village hall is in fact an old historic church sitting in a quiet rural area.  We call it a Village Hall but there isn't a Neroche Village !  Our Hall is, however, used extensively by the local community and it is an ideal venue for wedding parties, birthday celebrations, business meetings, clubs and societies.

Neroche Hall is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with no near neighbours, and provides a good venue for events where noise might be an issue. The main hall, meeting room and large car park provide excellent indoor and outdoor facilities for family and community social events. The hall has excellent access for all with a flat pathway and ramped entrance, although the committee room does have a small staircase.

It is the village hall of Bickenhall, Curland, Orchard Portman, Staple Fitzpaine and Thurlbear which together form Neroche Parish.

Situated in Bickenhall, six miles to the south of Taunton it is available for use by the villagers and by the wider community.

It is readily accessible to Taunton, the motorway M5, the A303 and the A358.

Neroche Hall is a registered charity (275573) and is funded by fundraising events, the hiring of the hall and a 100 club. Please go to What's On, Bookings and Clubs & Societies respectively.
